About myself:

-Speaking of myself in third person sounds pretty funny! yet here I am.

Antonia Rivano was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in South America until the age of 13 years old. Antonia was born surrounded by a huge artistic influence coming from her family, she loves to Act, Sing, paint and create from the imagination.

Antonia grew up to be the social butterfly, the one that loves to talk and interact with people, being so outspoken and so fiery at such an early age, caused her to stand out from the other kids in school, in a social setting, always taking the lead.

“I knew I wanted to become a hairstylist and realized so when I was a freshman in high school, I was 13 years old and My older brother had just graduated cosmetology school. following into his creative footsteps, I knew this career would take my potential to the max, to where I would build a life where my job is my true passion, while fulfilling my purpose of helping people feel good about themselves.”

Antonia graduated With a full 1600 hours of cosmetology and Advanced education from the Aveda Institute in orlando,FL then started working and experiencing different salon environments, learning and shadowing some from some of the best hairstylist in the area. She knew she wanted to take all the knowledge and learn as much as possible before going full time behind the chair.

2 years into my career, I knew I was destined for all the great things, being my own boss was always my goal, but always thought I wasn’t ready enough to take on such a responsibility at the age of 21. however my books were jam packed, And I was booking a month ahead. I was becoming more eager to take the leap.

In February of 2020 I gave birth to my first salon studio, “The Rivano collective” was then born. I was so proud to create an atmosphere and a unique aesthetic to call mine, my main goal is to make sure my clients left with the best experience I could provide, and also the best hair. As a new business venture, it was ideal and I became so confident in my abilities not just as an artist, but as a believer of “you can do whatever you put your mind into”.

As the months went by, I went through some personal hardships and the lifestyle of working non- stop since the age of 17 towards what I thought my “dream” was, making me slowly burn out and lose touch of who I really was as a person, who Antonia really was.

months later I made the decision to close down the Rivano Collective and continue my venture in San Diego, CA in January of 2021. Where I now reside and come back to Orlando to take care of new and existing guests the last week of every month. Moving away has made me appreciate my craft, and my passion for what I do has built so strongly in the past few months. I get to be inspired daily by the west coast feels, the beachy hairs, and the vibes all around.

I am proud of the stylist and most importantly the person I am growing into. My mind and my vision is set to service you the best way possible. I am looking forward to having you in my chair, more than hair, an all over experience.

Welcome to the Rivano collective = A cooperative enterprise.
